Ulead Your Uninstaller! 2008 6.1offers two way of operation (on this shareware version): Basic and Pro.
Both of them search the system and then show an initial window with all the installed programs with their corresponding icons so the user can recognize which program has to be uninstalled. It also can export this list for printing purposes.
The basic version takes care of completely uninstalling the programs the user decides, removing all traces left by the installation setup such as registry entries, temporary files, backup files, etc. fixes desktop shorcuts related to the removed program as well as startup menu shotcuts. Manages registration keys, restores and backups the whole registry, restores and backups the installed programs info, detects unfinished or corrupt previous installations, etc.
The Pro version is, in addition, able to completely remove applications that the standard Windows Add/Remove can't, uninstall screensavers, check the system hard disk drive for discontinued registry entries and/or files and delete them (if the user wants to do so), includes a Disk Cleaner to find unused and orphan files, erases Internet traces, context menu and cache, monitors the Windows startup process and automatically removes auto-run programs, obtains the installed programs details (to find out spyware, etc.), etc.
Easy to use interface, the user drags and drops the programs to uninstall and the application takes care of everything to accomplish the required operation.
